Reconstruction of Villa Virányosi

The original building in the 12th district, built around 1915, was a single-storey gabled roofed wine cellar with a basement. Its history is marked by several reconstructions and extensions. After World War II, the restoration was carried out by József Frankfurt, which ultimately resulted in a villa character that combines classical and modern features.
Local regulations allowed for a more definite reconstruction, including the addition of a new floor. The plan, which was also approved by the planning board, nicely enhances the remaining prominent row of columns - thus creating the character of a high-class green belt villa typical of the Hegyvidék region.
