For our newly established architectural and interior design office in 2017, it was of utmost importance that we first find our place in the city. Our choice ultimately fell on the foot of the Buda Castle in Víziváros. We were looking for a popular yet peaceful spot where we could truly experience the atmosphere of the city, and not just observe it from the top of a building. It was a lucky coincidence that these needs came together in a building designed by Péter Reimholz.

The staircase connecting Szalag and Donáti streets is a modern urban space that fits well with the lovable, zigzag character of District 1. The design was based on the colors of our established image, which we complemented with white block-like furniture and a series of chickens by photographer Dániel Szalai.
